Special Characters
The keyboard doesn’t have a key for all characters in common. To cope with that, Lemma provides some functions to help you add those characters to your documents conveniently.

There are also ways to enter special characters while typing, directly from the text editor. They are explained in the following sections.
Quotes and Dashes
You can add some quotation marks and dashes by typing a similar looking sequence, like
Here’s a list of supported sequences:
- type
-- , to get an en-dash (– ); - type
--- to get an em-dash (— ); - type
<< and>> for guillemets (« and» ); - type
,, ,`` and´´ for other quotation marks („ ,“ and” ); - type
'' to get” also.
